About the Author Section: Saliha Parwana Mujadedi
Born in Herat, spent early childhood in Kandahar Afghanistan,
before fleeing to Pakistan at age 5 from Soviet invasion of
her country. Then at age 9 coming as refugee along with her
family to United States. She received her bachelors (B.A.) in
Clinical and Counseling Psychology and Business Law with an
emphasis in Medical Research from San Jose State University.
